Long day

Warning: I just read through this and it's pretty lame and negative. But it sure felt good to write it all down! So here are some pics before that you can enjoy!
Brynnlee was Super Kid of the week

She got to talk about her family and said her favorite place is St. Anthony Idaho!

She got to bring a few toys and show them off too.

We brought snacks for the kids to eat. Since it was 8:30 in the morning we did fruit bowls with toothpicks to eat them with. My kids love eating fruit with toothpicks. Whatever works!

Tays had to pose of course

Brayden being good for a few minutes at the museum

Rock candy from the museum

Brynnlee and Tays are on the same team which is so fun

Silly boy

They are so fun to watch together

They sat there waiting to bat and were just giggling. It was so cute!

Nice hit buddy!

I love how he stands on the base!

Brynnlee does awesome too!

Silly kids

My cute little red head

So excited for his turn

Grouchy little man. Obviously tired sipping on his sippy and rubbing his head.

Today was for some reason an especially exhausting day for me! It's my own fault because I stay up late at nights, but for some reason I am a night owl. I used to blame it on my dad but now I blame it on Austin. He is such a night owl. He is awful! Especially right now since he is studying for his CPA exams. He will START studying at night around 10:30 or 11:00 or a lot of times even later than than. He doesn't come to bed until 1 or 2 in the mornings on good nights and half the time it's later than that! Then he gets up at 7, or earlier and goes to work and starts it all over again. I'm always telling him no wonder you had a stroke! Hello! You need to sleep more! Anyway.... back to me. I HATE going to bed alone. I don' t know what it is. But I like it when we get in bed the same time and sometimes even pray together and talk about our day for a few minutes before going to sleep. But it hardly ever happens so when he is out on the computer I will read or watch tv or just whatever because I don't think it's time for me to go to bed either. Then I wake up exhausted and drag the whole day. And now it's getting hot here and that just makes it worse. Haha. I am such a Negative Nancy! Geez. I think today was just hard because I had a lot going on. We took Brynnlee to school, dropped Austin off at work, ran home and made some really yummy but really bad for you treats to take to the firemen today, went to the playgroup/barbeque at the fire station and the whole time Brayden was Awful! He loves Jon the fireman that's in our ward. We've been to his house many times for dinner and swam in his pool and the kids are pretty comfortable with him. But for some reason Brayden was not having it today. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with anything. And he wanted to be held the whole time until I finally convinced him that it would be really fun to sit in his stroller. He didn't even want to go for a ride in the fire truck! I made him anyway and we sat up front and I had fun at least! ;) He was so whiney at the bbq I couldn't even enjoy talking to the other moms. Then we went to feed some ducks after and he was pretty good with that until the kids started exploring a little and he wanted me to follow him everywhere and kept trying to climb the rocks like the big kids even though he kept slipping and falling. We finally went home and he took a good nap. Thank goodness! I was so exhausted after I got Brynnlee from school that I went and crashed by him while Brynnlee and Tayson got into as much junk food as they could find! When I got up it was time to get them ready for their tball game. We had the snacks for today so we had to run and get ice to keep the stuff cold. We get inside the store and after me explaining to the kids that we don't need a cart, we are only getting one thing and I'm going to pay for it first then we'll grab it, Tays and Brayden see a cart just their size and proceed to fight over it the whole time I'm in line and then paying for the ice. We made it to the game with time to spare and Brynnlee announced to me that she didn't feel good and didn't want to play. Again Brayden was being extremely whiney and clingy so I told her fine but she didn't get any of the treats. Austin didn't make it to the game until the very end so I got to wrestle Brayden through the whole thing. Austin did help me pack everything back to the car though which was nice. Then he had to go straight to a baptism and left me alone without a car again with the kids to bathe them, throw something together for dinner, and attempt to get the kids to listen to me and go to bed. Thankfully they sensed that I meant business when I told them don't you dare get out of your beds. Now I am cooking 8 lbs (yes 8 POUNDS) of spaghetti for the Young Men's spaghetti fund raiser for tomorrow.  Oh ya. And I have to make a dessert for them to auction off. Haven't decided what that will be yet. Something simple? Sounds good to me!  At least Austin went to the store for me tonight. I did get my kitchen cleaned up from the mess this morning, and this evening, (well except for the spaghetti that is still cooking) and the kids have stayed in their beds. And I actually have time to blog. So really what am I complaining about?! Sorry for the long post. If anyone made it through my tantrum, congratulations. You deserve a medal. And if not, that's ok cause it felt good to let it all out anyway! ;)

A post in Pictures

I finally uploaded some pics from my camera and phone so here's a few things that have been happening in our house lately...

The kids found the leprechaun's treasure after following all of his clues for St. Patty's Day!

Brynnlee worked hard on her butterfly project for school.

Austin had to eat at the little kids table because he was in trouble. (Just kidding. Brynnlee's butterfly project took up the whole table!)
Finally finished!

Open house at her school. She got to dress up and show me around her classroom and show off her butterfly.

Posing with her butterfly

We had to pack the whole house to go watch Brynnlee at her track meet!

She got first! ( There were only two other girls she ran against.... but still! I was so proud!)

We celebrated it being a year since  Austin had his stroke March 30th,  and were reminded how blessed we are that he was able to recover extremely quickly without any lasting affects  (well we do find ourselves blaming every little thing he forgets or does wrong on his stroke! A little too convenient for him if you ask me. ;) )
We decorated a lot of easter eggs and took the kids to see Monsters Inc in 3D for Easter
Brayden snuck ahead of Brynnlee and Tayson starting the easter egg hunt.
We did the easter egg hunt in the house since it actually rained for about twenty minutes outside and I really didn't want the kids tracking mud in the house.

It was serious business

Brayden was so happy with his easter eggs.
He giggled every time he opened an egg and found candy. It was so cute!

Brynnlee lost her second tooth during her T-ball practice while chewing on her mitt....?

"Look at my funny face mom!"

I put the booster seat in the back while I was vacuuming out the rest of the car so Brayden thought it was the perfect place to chill and blow some bubbles.

Silly boys swimming in the bathtub.

I was so proud of myself for vacuuming the living rooms and hallway. Ya know really really good where you vacuum underneath everything and get all the nooks and crannies. Until I saw what the boys decided to do while I was vacuuming.

Notice both the chairs in front of the sinks are soaked, along with my floor, and the counters.

So what do you do?

Pose for a few pics of course!

He always has to close his eyes when he does two thumbs up. It's so funny!
